Rapid Release Technology is a pioneer in high-speed vibration therapy. Their flagship product, the Pro3, is an FDA-registered Class 1 medical device designed for chiropractors, athletic trainers, and physical therapists.
Unlike consumer massage tools, the Pro3 is a high-value precision instrument (retailing approx. $1,800) used in demanding environments—from clinical therapy rooms to sports fields. The client needed a packaging solution that matched the device's premium positioning and rugged usage requirements.


The Challenge: Protecting a Mobile Medical Clinic

The "Pro3 Complete Kit" presented specific engineering challenges that off-the-shelf cases could not solve:

Complex Device Geometry: The Pro3 features a unique ergonomic design with 5 built-in treatment heads (non-removable).Standard generic cases cannot accommodate this specific shape without creating pressure points on the mechanism or treatment surfaces.
Heavy Component Organization: The kit includes the main unit, two heavy-duty battery packs, and a charging dock. These heavy components needed to be secured to prevent collision and damage during transit.
Professional Durability: The end-users are mobile medical professionals. They required a carrying solution that could withstand daily travel while maintaining a sanitary, professional appearance suitable for a doctor's office.

Our Solution: Precision-Engineered EVA Protection

We developed a fully custom High-Density EVA carrying case tailored strictly to the dimensions and usage profile of the Rapid Release Pro3.

Custom-Molded Interior Layout

We moved beyond generic foam to create a 1:1 custom mold:

Precision Fit: The mold perfectly contours the Pro3’s unique body and its built-in heads, locking the device in place to prevent any movement or rattling.
Secure Accessory Storage: Dedicated, deep-set compartments hold the spare battery and charging base firmly. This ensures the heavy battery packs do not shift or crush the device, even if the case is dropped.

Ergonomic Professional Hardware

High-Quality Plastic Handle: Recognizing the combined weight of the device and spare batteries, we integrated a reinforced rigid plastic handle.
This provides a solid, comfortable grip for the user and offers superior durability compared to standard fabric straps.
It is also easier to wipe down and sanitize, aligning with medical standards.
